The open heart — _coração vazado_ — uses negative space as its defining feature. The pendant traces only the outer outline of the heart, leaving the interior empty. The form reads as drawn rather than carved.

At three centimeters tall and 0.9 grams, the pendant is large enough for the silhouette to register clearly on the chain. The 18K yellow gold outline is finished in clean polish, and the empty interior allows light to pass through the form rather than reflecting off it.
